These objects were produced using paper mache and other things that were at hand and were used in the carnival
I am currently working on a project entitled, "Debt Dolls." The goal of the project is to confront the issue of the student debt crisis and eliminate my own student debt through the selling of hand crafted Debt Dolls,flip-books and zines. The dolls are comprised of silkscreen on canvas material.
The project is scheduled to launch in July 2013.
"Study for Coney Island Installation" is a multi-media installation. Conceptually, it is about the gentrification of Coney Island in the summer of 2009. Upon entering the space, the viewer was washed in fragmented colors of light and images from Coney Island. Local sounds from Coney Island filled the space.
I have used Coney Island in my work as a metaphor, for working class society.

Initially, these paintings were preliminary sketches for artworks, I then turned them into spinning paintings for Berd's Carnival. They are a combination of silkscreen, spray paint, and oil markers.
